Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière designs entertainment and stimulating activities for families that allow the young people to combine the pleasure of having fun in the great outdoors while discovering nature.

For children, Domaine Joly-De Lotbinière offers privilege rates:

  • FREE ENTRANCE for children 5 and under.
  • For children between 6 and 17 years old: $7, taxes included.

BROCHURES TO STIMULATE THE CURIOSITY OF VISITORS

As soon as they arrive on the site, at the reception centre, the young people, depending on their age, will receive a brochure to accompany them on their visit and to develop a wealth of knowledge about the nature and history of the Domaine.

Young and old discover a rich and diversified nature. Meeting 250-year-old giants while hiking the trails, identifying bird songs, walking through the arboretum, and recognizing trees from Europe and Asia, or taking a walk along the riverside in search of shells are just a few of the activities you can do as a family.

For Children 5 Years and Under

The Adventures of Tête de noix (Nuthead) is an educational colouring book that presents the adventures of Nuthead, a cute little red squirrel. It invites children to discover the Domaine and its treasures, while carrying out various activities.

For 6 to 12 Year Olds

Explore, Discover, Learn is an educational, informative and playful brochure designed to stimulate young people's interest, develop their sense of observation and satisfy their curiosity! Through stimulating games of observation, discovery of the trees' country of origin, association, drawing, true/false or word games, young people, in the company of their parents or grandparents, are called upon to explore and discover the richness of the Domaine. Fun guaranteed!

A NEW EDUCATIONAL AND PLAYFUL ACTIVITY

On any day during the tourist season, all children are invited to walk through the gardens to find the gnomes hiding! Enchant and surprise your children by asking them to help Fée Papillon Monarque (Monarch Butterfly Fairy), and the red squirrel Tête de Noix (Nuthead), our mascot, to find the Garden Gnomes in the Domaine. Take part in our Race for Garden Gnomes!
